Lexide scurried back into his room, calling for Sincasoth. "Sinca'! Sinca'! Are you in here, or did you leave for your hunt already?" He looked around, and saw the mostly white dragon lounging on her couch.
"I'm right here." She got up and dashed to meet him. "What's going on? Why are you so excited?" She started bouncing up and down; she was always easily excited.
The canid looked at her with his hazel-blue eyes lit up. " I found us a new place to explore! There's a world full of creatures like me; mostly feline or canine, and they are looking for dragons to come and live there, as well as other people. Do you want to check it out?"
"It sounds like fun. But what will they think of you?" The old world-denachian-SCD mutt looked at her bond's magenta fur. "Why did you dye your fur, again?"
He hung his head sheepishly, his black curls covering his magenta dyed face. "I wanted to look different from the others. I didn't realize it would be so bright." Never staying down for long, he looked back at the red pointed white with a gleam in his eyes. "So, do you want to go check it out? I'm sure they won't mind my fur; if they do, I'll let it grow out. Though, I might do that anyway. I'm a little bored with this color."
"Okay, then, we can go check it out. What's the name of this new place, anyway?"
"It's called Malnev. And I think there are a few other people going there, too."

Lexide and Sincasoth lived on Malnev for quite a while, his unnatural colored fur being unexpectedly well-received. Many of the wolv race were thrilled to see a new canid face, even if it was pink. Most weren't even bothered by Sinca's over-friendlyness, or Lex's extreme cheerfulness. Sinca' had only one complaint.
"Why aren't there any other light-colored dragons?" She had asked this of Lexide so many times, he was starting to think that she'd lost the ability to think of anything else.
"I don't know, Sinca', maybe you scared them all away." He turned his face to hide the fact that he almost burst out laughing. It didn't work.
"It's not funny! I didn't scare them away; they would have had to come here in the first place for that to happen." She glared at her bond and stuck her tongue out at him. At which, he did burst out laughing. Not many people would be able to keep a straight face at the sight of an adult dragon with her tongue hanging out of her mouth.
