Malnev is home to the Faax, Lynxx, Wolv, Pan-thar, and a few rarer races. Malnev is also home to the sulanu, a multi-tailed feline; the firlani, a malnev version of the horse; and the kolsan, or wind wolves. There are also a number of gryphons, hyppogryphs, and other similar creatures. Dragons used to be prevalent, but a recent disaster left their numbers decimated, and now there is only one known native dragon left. He has opened the planet to other dragons, and offered sanctuary or a home to any dragon, with or without rider, who would like to live there. Storm, the sole remaining Malnev dragon, had helped a number of the natives get off-planet to bond dragons on other worlds. They have also met other people and invited them to come with their dragons, and set up their own dragon agency. This was before the refugee Malnev dragons, who had fled years before, returned to renew their presence on their home. |

No longer the only Malnev dragon, Storm has relinquished his leadership position of Haven to the elf girl, Lyllia, and has taken over the records room. The anjir hatched, a nice clutch of five, and there is currently a clutch of Malnevian eggs on the sands. |
