Having been at Treval for a little while, Ketair heard about a special group of eggs on the sands. They were pretty much mutts, having pernese, icarian drak, tavrayn, and star city dragons in their family tree, but they needed to bond, and he thought they sounded interesting. He decided to stand as a candidate for one of the hatchlings.
After a few days, the eggs hatched, and the silver winged wolf found himself with a new bronze companion, much to Spark's glee. He was thrilled with the large bronze hatchling. Ketair was fairly surprised; since the clutch wasn't pure pernese, the colors weren't ranked the same way, if at all, but he hadn't expected a bronze.

Linladu'Taykah was a very energetic hatchling, right from the start. It took both Ketair and Spark a large portion of their days, and energy, just to keep up with him, and keep him out of trouble. He frequently ended a day with knots in his mane and tail, but they were nearly impossible to get out, since the little bronze wouldn't sit still!
Then, before he would go to sleep at night, he had a dozen (or more) questions for his bond.
"Why does it rain?"
"Why is Spark called bronze, when he is a different color than me?"
"Why do you have hair allover your body, and I only have it on my neck and tail?"
While the endless questions he couldn't really answer sometimes annoyed the winged wolf, he knew the hatchling was honestly curious about the world, and tried not to get upset with him.  Spark, however, would get annoyed after the third or fourth question and just leave. He'd go find a quiet place, and take a nap, or once in a while, he'd go find something that he could play with and royally mess up.
A few weeks after the hatching, while they were wandering around Treval, they bumped into a pretty gold wolf and her tiny elf friend who were visiting the city. He was intrigued by the female, who said her name was Elnevi and her companion was Nimble. She seemed to be interested in him, too, and when she invited him and his bonds to join them, he offered to show them around.
After a few days of showing them around, stopping whenever his still very young bond got tired, they decided to head back to where they had come from. But the golden female promised to come back to visit; she wanted to get to know him better. Since the feeling was mutual, he hoped she would; he just hoped she didn't meet a more interesting male before he had time to talk to her more!
He and Spark continued to take Linladu exploring all over Anar; seeing different cities, and dragons that were native to specific regions. After visiting several new areas, they met a very unusual dragon. She was a bit over twenty feet long, and a tawny color covered in large cloudy gold-and-black spots, but she was only about a foot and a half tall when standing square on all four feet. She said her name was Ena Jayari'Myok, and she was a Saurake.
The snake-like dragon seemed to find Linladu fascinating; she decided to join the trio in their explorations, though she spent most of her time with the young bronze. When Ketair asked her why she had joined them, she said Linladu reminded her of an old friend, one who was no longer around. While the saurake had a tendency to be a little snappish with strangers, she got along well enough with the trio of males, and even seemed to be a little protective of them.
Ketair thought this was interesting; he told himself to see if he could find out any info on this new species when he got back to Treval. The four of them wandered around for a few more months before heading back to Treval, and when they were on their way back, they found a small keep nearby that was in the middle of reconstruction. Curious, the wolf saw a winged wolf near the workers and asked what was going on.
Apparently, the wolves here and back at Taheyr Roahai had been looking for a more accessable place to raise cubs, and give interested parents the opportunity to offer their pups the opportunity to be "adopted" or find people willing to take them to new homes. One of these wolves had recently discovered this abandoned keep, and recieved permission to turn it into a suitable place for the other interested wolves.
